Vielchenblau Veilchenblau is a wonderful once blooming rose developed in Germany in 1909. It has a wonderful colour blend and a very pleasing scent. I only wish it was a repeat bloomer. |

Lousia Stone Also classified as Enlgish roses these shrub roses from Harkness are similar to the ones developed by David Austin. Poulsen of Denmark, Gaujard and Meilland in France are all introducing roses in this style. Full and very double they combine the beauty and fragrance of old roses with the reliable repeat bloom of modern roses. Louisa Stone is a lovely soft apricot paling to blush at the petal edges. |
