I have roses of most of the main categories and have been collecting antique varitites. I particularly love the Hybrid Perpetuals which preceeded the Hybrid Teas. |

Rienne des Violettes This Hybrid Perpetual was developed in France in 1860 and has a deep strong fragrance. The color is a deep purple with a huge flush of bloom in early summer and a good repeat in late summer into fall. |

Fair Bianca
This 1982 introduction from David Austin is among his best white roses. Bred using old garden roses and modern roses his collection combines the best of both types. |

Crimson Glory This older hybrid tea has an amazing fragrance and is still one of my favorite reds. |

St. Patrick With greenish tinges to on the outer petals this is one of the best yellow hybrid teas with excellent disease resistance but very little scent. |

Carefree Wonder This small shrub roses is constantly in bloom with deep pink blooms with a lighter reverse. |

Fellowship This glowing orange floribunda is known in the US as Living Easy but I prefer the name given by the Breeder Harkness in England. |

Gold Medal This grandiflora has deep yellow buds tinged with orange which fade as they open ending up almost white by the time the blooms is fully open. This gives the effect of different coloured blooms on the same plant. |
