This side view of the main rose garden shows how the arbor disappears under its blanket of blooms in late June and early July.
In front: red- floribunda, Europeana, pink- hybrid tea, Paul Shirville, purple - hybrid perpetual, Riene des Violettes.
First Prize
This hybrid tea is certainly aptly named. The thick petals of the blossoms make long lasting cut flowers.
First Edition
This floribunda has warm pink/orange blooms and is a continuos bloomer.
Granada
This beautiful hybrid tea won an award for its intense fragrance. The colour blend is stunning.
Heritage
Another of the wonderful pinks from David Austin. Like most of the Austin roses it gets much larger in climate than in the cool English summers.
Intrigue
This floribunda stays small so you have to bend down to enjoy the intense fragrance.
Just Joey
Huge blooms in a soft orange borne usually one to a stem are the trademark of this hybrid tea.
